about
Once upon a time, in the year 2005, P. Murray wrote, produced, and recorded what he would consider to be his first spot-on Urban Pop song. "Talk To Him" was a popular favorite on his college campus, and so when the time came to edit his track listing for "First Draft: Second Edition," it only seemed fitting to create an updated version of the record. Kudos to producer AR for the revamped production; enjoy "Talk To Him 2012!"
lyrics
VERSE
Hey girl,
What you doin out here this late?
You should be at home with your man;
Why you're here, I don't understand really...
Hey girl,
Don't wanna see you cryin' like that;
Come on let's take a walk for awhile,
Figure out what's makin' you feel this way.
Now you say girl
That your man is treating you wrong;
You never know when he's comin home,
And most of the time you're all alone.
Well OK girl.
I see your point, but does he know
All the things that I now know
Because you simply told me so?
CHORUS
Even though I'm not your man, and I don't live your life
I understand that no man born can read your mind.
If you want to work things out, then tell him how you feel.
Just talk to him, don't let the man keep on living blind...
Now I know
When things just aren't meant to work out,
But it doesn't seem like that to me
based on what I know and see in you.
And you know
That your love runs deeper for him
Than any other man that you've tried,
And that's something you just cannot hide
But we know
That if you really want things to change,
You both need to stop playing games.
Now I'm not tryina place any blame,
But who knows,
Maybe there is something you did
To make him go on acting like this
But you're gonna have to talk about it
CHORUS
Even though I'm not your man, and I don't live your life
I understand that no man born can read your mind.
If you want to work things out, then tell him how you feel.
Just talk to him, don't let the man keep on living blind...
BRIDGE
All of this time that you're spending with me,
You could be spending with him, making it right,
And in your heart, you know what you have to do,
And now it's all on you; go home tonight,
And tell him that you love him,
Tell him that you need him,
Tell him everything that you feel,
And tell him that your love is too real to let go...
CHORUS
Even though I'm not your man, and I don't live your life
I understand that no man born can read your mind.
If you want to work things out, then tell him how you feel.
Just talk to him, don't let the man keep on living blind...
